Australian singer-songwriter/guitarist Ziggy Alberts has captivated audiences worldwide with his authentic lyrics, folk-pop melodies, and an upbeat energy that shines in his solo live performances. Exemplifying the same positive vibes of Jack Johnson and Xavier Rudd, Alberts has established himself as a leading Australian artist through his incredible journey, culminating in forming his independent label, Commonfolk Records. His latest recordings, searching for freedom (2021) and ARIA award-nominated DANCING IN THE DARK (2022), are testaments to his artistic growth and expressive lyrics.

Alberts continues to earn critics’ praise with 2018’s ARIA Double Platinum Certified Laps Around the Sun. He has also received an APRA Music Award for Most Performed Blues & Roots Work for his track “Letting Go,” and the 10th anniversary re-release of Made of Water (Deluxe) in 2023 celebrates Alberts’ remarkable evolution in grassroots songwriting. 2024 is shaping up to be a landmark year for Ziggy Alberts, fuelled by the momentum of his international touring, compelling storytelling abilities, and continued genuine relationship with his audience which defines his music.
