The Rocky Horror Show returns to the Metro Theatre this Halloween Season for another high-energy, audience participation, no-holds barred, performance to make you shiver with antici… pation.

Newly engaged sweethearts Brad and Janet become stranded with a flat tire during a storm – their only ray of light coming from the mansion of mad scientist Dr. Frank-N-Furter (Griffin Leonard Lea). As their innocence is tested, they meet a houseful of wild characters. Directed by Britt Small, and featuring some of Victoria’s best performance and design talent, this show is a high energy cult-classic that has to be experienced.

Atomic Vaudeville is an award-winning performance company based in Victoria, British Columbia.

The company was founded by Britt Small and Jacob Richmond in 2004. AV has produced over 70 cabaret shows in Victoria, Vancouver, Toronto, and Bellingham, and worked with over 200 local and visiting artists.

The shows are unique, more easily described by what they are not—variety show, sketch comedy, burlesque—and yet the shows pull from these forms. The show is a labour of love and commitment by a group of people determined to push theatre kicking and screaming into the future by fusing the common and secret joy of coarse amusement, with a conscious desire to engage in a thoughtful dialogue about our uneasy connected existence as people in community.

Besides cabarets, Atomic Vaudeville has produced the plays Ride The Cyclone, Hedwig and The Angry Inch, BlissKrieg, The Qualities of Zero, Legoland, The History of Everything, and Circus Fire in Toronto, Seattle, Bellingham, Prague, New York, Victoria and Vancouver.
