Stretching from Victoria’s waterfront on Wharf Street to Government Street, this colorful open-air market brings vibrancy to Bastion Square with its wonderful array of locally-produced arts, crafts and entertainment. Watch artisans as they create, or sit and enjoy the market atmosphere at one of the local outdoor cafes.

James Bay Community Market

The James Bay Market is a vibrant community farmers market located at the corner of Menzies and Superior Street in the heart of James Bay. You will still find yourself surrounded by a bounty of fresh local produce and farm goods, beautiful and unique artisan crafts and fresh ready-to-eat foods. You will love the fine handcrafted wood items, whimsical home décor and naturally crafted body products. We also have top-quality traditional baked goods, specialty sauces and seasonings and dried soup mixes. Hungry? You will find prepared food you can eat right on site in our picnic area. We also have a vast array of farm-fresh products from farm-fresh meats to seasonal veggies and fruits. Along with a unique community shopping experience, live local music by some of the area\’s most talented musicians will entertain you throughout the day. There is also a children\’s play area and plenty of room to sit and relax or have a bite to eat, while you take in the ambience of the market. Come see us rain or shine every Saturday, May 5th to September 29th from 9 to 3 on the corner of Menzies and Superior in James Bay and take advantage of lots of available parking (free on Superior).

Moss Street Market

The Moss Street Market is one of Victoria’s most beloved, located in Fairfield just a 15-minute walk from downtown. With over 25 local and organic farmers, amazing prepared and hot food vendors, and dozens of local artisans, you’ll eat, drink and mingle with the locals. Keep an eye out for the many art vendors who sell everything from hand-painted canvases to hand-carved wooden art pieces.

Oaklands Sunset Community Market

Oaklands Sunset Community Market showcases local farmers and vendors selling delectable breads, granola’s, teas, baked goods and olive oils, as well as artisans displaying crafts, arts, pottery and designer jewelry. Food trucks offer a wide variety of ethnic and local eats and drinks and are available in the one-of-a-kind beer garden.

The Victoria Public Market is a destination for hungry travelers and local food lovers. Located on the ground floor of the iconic Hudson Building, former home to The Hudson Bay Co., Canada’s oldest department store chain.

Saturdays during summer, in the heart of Langford’s city centre, at Veterans Memorial Park, is Goldstream Farmers Market.

Here, Langford’s inner creativity is released in the form of locally-grown and locally-processed agricultural products and artisan crafts.

The Market supports and promotes a sustainable and vibrant local agricultural industry and artisan community by providing an outlet for the farmers and artists of Langford and West Shore. Local musicians and entertainers provide atmosphere throughout the day and non-profit groups share their community stories.

Metchosin Farmers Market

Buy your fresh vegetables, local meats, breads, jams, salsa, baked goods, wine, beer, cider and gifts (or crafts) for your loved ones. Then come again the next week.

Take a relaxing drive into Metchosin country, where the sheep and cattle graze and the rolling hills beckon you to lift that camera for a lasting impression of what is here in Metchosin. Stop at the local Metchosin Farmers’ Market and see what we have grown and made for you!  Browse at the Pioneer Museum, purchase a book from the Old Barn Bookstore to read as you listen to music, or have lunch at our picnic tables. Check out our Bulletin Board for local beaches, trails, historic sites and eateries.

The Metchosin Producers’ Association (MPA) is a non-profit organization which is the governing body of the local Metchosin Farmers’ Market. The MPA also keeps an ear open for important issues regarding farms and farmland. We hold representation on our Metchosin Agricultural Advisory Committee. In the past we have received a Tourism Grant to make improvements to the Market site of a hedge, plants and a cedar rail fence along with electrical and water improvements.

Sidney Street Market

Sidney’s Street Market has been a holiday highlight on Vancouver Island for over 17 years. Every Thursday night from May – August, the Town’s charming main street, Beacon Avenue, is closed to traffic and transformed into one of the most spectacular, festive street markets in British Columbia.

With over 150 vendors offering everything from locally grown produce, handmade jewellery by local artisans, one of a kind clothing, toys, flowers, handmade soaps, home-made breads, jams, fudge and so much more; there is something for everyone in the family!

The Sidney Street Market attracts up to 5,000 people a night who all come to savour the flavours, see the sights and listen to the sounds of a myriad of musical performers. The Sidney Street Market is a must see and do event for everyone’s summer activities list.

Penninsula County Market

Our vibrant community market has more than 50 vendors weekly offering farm fresh products, jams and jellies, honey, homemade bread, cut flowers, assorted fresh meats, organic produce and a fine selection of arts and crafts. Enjoy a country morning among friends live music, hot coffee, great munchies and children’s activities. The Peninsula Country Market is located just minutes from the communities of Brentwood Bay, Saanichton, Tsartlip and Tsawout.
